Windows Full Client Setup for ASP-300 Digital Desktops |

Go
to
www.appsolution.net/downloads.htm |
||
| 2. |
Choose Full PN (executable). |
||
| 3. |
In
the next box click Save, click OK. |
||
| 4. | Save directly to your Desktop. | ||
|
NOTE: Depending on your connection speed, this can take anywhere
from 1-15 minutes. |

| 5. |
Close all running programs / windows. |
||
| 6. |
Go
to your Desktop and double click the ica32.exe. |
||
| 7. |
Click Next on the opening screen (Install Wizard). |
||
| 8. |
Click Next on the second opening screen (Welcome to ICA Client setup). |
||
| 9. |
Click Yes to the Agreement. |
||
| 10. |
Click Next to allow the default Destination Folder (C:\Program
Files\Citrix\ICA Client). |
||
| 11. |
Click Next to allow an icon to be placed in the Program Folder list. |
||
| 12. | Type in your first initial and last name (no spaces, capitalize the initials) for your client name (i.e. LMansfield) | ||
|
NOTE: If this is a second installation for you, please add a
description to the end of your name (no spaces) so that it is not the
same as your first installation – i.e. LMansfieldLaptop or
LMansfieldHome. Click Next. |

Select No for using your local computer’s user name and password,
click Next. |

| 14. |
Click OK to the Installation Complete and exit the Citrix window left on your desktop. |

NOTE: If
you use a dial-up leave yourself connected to the Internet. |

Double click the new icon on your desktop called Citrix Program
Neighborhood. |
||
| 16. |
Double click Add ICA Connection. |
||
| 17. | Select Local Area Network for your connection type, click Next. | ||
|
NOTE: If you are using a Dial-up connection, you will have to log
onto the Internet prior to using the Digital Desktop Icon that will take
you directly to your remote desktop. |

| 18. |
Type in a short description, like Digital Desktop, for the name of the
icon to be placed on your local desktop, |
||
| 19. |
Choose TCP/IP from the dropdown as your network protocol, |
||
| 20. | Check the circle for Published Application, | ||
| 21. | Click on the Server Location Button, | ||
| 22. | Uncheck the Use Default box in the lower left corner, | ||
| 23. | Change the Network Protocol to TCP/IP; | ||
| 24. | Choose Add at the right of the address list; | ||
| 25. |
In the popup box where
it says “Enter the new server location address below”, type in
216.87.82.25 then click OK, |
||
| 26. | Choose Add again at the right of the address list, | ||
| 27. |
In the popup box where
it says “Enter the new server location address below”, type in
216.87.82.26 then click OK; |
||
| 28. | You should now see both addresses in the Address List, click OK, | ||
| 29. |
Go back up to the box
below Published Application and choose “My Digital Desktop – Recruiting”
from the dropdown list; click Next, |

| 30. | Choose “View in a Remote Desktop Window”, then click Next, | ||
| 31. |
Leave the Use Default checked for Encryption Level, click Next. |
||
| 32. |
Type in the User Name and Password approved by ASP, Inc., or leave these
fields blank to be prompted at login. |

| 33. |
Type in thinsource.com as the Domain, click Next. |
||
| 34. | Un-check the Use Default for Windows Colors, scroll down and choose High Color (16bit). | ||

NOTE:
Any other choice will result in poor color on
Digital Desktop. |

Un-check the Use Default for Window Size, scroll down a bit, choose
Percent of Screen. Type 100 in the small box that appears, click
Next, |

Then click Finish. |

| 37. |
Right click on the new Digital Desktop icon and go to properties. |
||
| 38. |
On
the second tab (Options), make sure that “Use data compression” and “Use
disk cache for bitmaps” are both checked, then click OK. |
||

In
the menu bar of the Citrix Program Neighborhood, choose Tools/ICA settings. Then go
to the 2nd tab (Bitmap Cache) and change the minimum size
bitmap that will be cached down to 2k Bytes (scroll bar at the bottom),
click OK. |

| 40. |
Right mouse click new Digital Desktop ICA icon and choose “Create
desktop shortcut”. Close the Citrix Program Neighborhood. |

| 41. | Double click your new shortcut on your desktop…voila! This will bring you to your new Digital Desktop. | ||
